Prior to joining the Collective Resilience team, Colin was a Detective Chief Superintendent in UK Policing. Having spent 25 years in law enforcement, Colin was known for driving efficiency as change through operational excellence, alongside leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of innovation, with a strong ability to transform challenges into opportunities for lasting success.
As a Chief Superintendent, Colin led major investigations and commanded complex operations across Staffordshire, West Midlands and the wider UK, shaping responses to serious crime, safeguarding, and public protection. He is recognised for building high-performing teams, driving innovation, and fostering strong partnerships across agencies.
Colin led the strategic response to high harm Synthetic Cathinone, resulting in disruption to supply chains and delivered enhanced services and rehabilitation strategies for users, and sat on the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs Committee as the law enforcement expert to respond to the Government’s consideration to reclassify Synthetic Cathinones (findings to be published Sep 2024).
Colin joins the Collective Resilience team as our senior contract manager and delivers on strategic command and response-based training projects for public and private sector organisations.
